Devon's oldest resident has celebrated her birthday today with a dance – saying she feels more like nine years old than 109.
Nina Jackson, who was born on July 13, 1908, was taken out for lunch in Brixham by her relatives and also enjoyed a party with cake and musical entertainment at Roundham Court, her care home in Paignton.
Despite being one of the top 40 oldest people in Britain, Nina is still amazingly fit. She went swimming regularly until she was 102, crediting it with 'keeping her going', and said her advice for a long life is: "Don't worry about anything, be happy and stay away from doctors!"
