Activities and Hobbies
Each one of our homes is a real community, providing companionship and the opportunity to make new friendships. Many of our residents also find that they can rekindle old hobbies and interests.
The importance of mental and physical stimulation is widely recognised as a way of improving general well-being and that is why our activity programmes focus not just on physical health but also take into account the social, psychological and spiritual needs of our residents.
Music therapy plays an important part in all of our homes and our qualified teacher brings her enthusiasm and love of music to those in our care, much to the delight of our residents and members of our local communities who are often involved and take great pleasure in joining in.
All of our homes benefit from wireless internet access allowing our residents to keep in touch with family and friends much more easily.
We offer a varied programme of activities and outings and residents are encouraged to participate wherever possible.
